Learn what appraisers do when they appraise a home for your client. Using a subject property, you will have the opportunity to participate in the completion of this property's appraisal from start to finish. The first hour of the class is spent in the classroom where we will do research. We then travel to our subject property for the second segment, a full appraisal inspection. The final segment of the seminar is back in the classroom to wrap up the actual appraisal report.
This class is to give agents a better understanding of FHA/HUD standards and requirements as they pertain to the seller's property and/or the buyer's potential purchase. Session 1 concentrates on the external factors such as the subjetcssite and off site conditions, while Session 2 concentrates on the systems and components of the residential dwelling as both relate to the newest published guidelines.
APPRAISAL REVIEW, A BETTER UNDERSTANDING
An in-depth course explaining the appraisers tole in the valuation process, what the intended use of an appraisal is, different types of appraisal reviews, and the meaning and significance of USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Practice). The class also includes guidance on making adjustments, identifying misinterpretation in an appraisal with the use of case studies, and how to identify a reliable appraisal.
